Who We Are

Messianic Scribal Arts is a small group of believers in Yeshua (Jesus) who have been commissioned by the L-rd to produce hand-scribed scripture in the form of mezuzah, tefillin, and sefer torah. These items are scribed in a traditional format, black ink on goat or lamb skin.

Our primary ministry is to provide both old and new testament scripture in scribed form to Messianic believers -- both Jewish and non-Jewish -- who would use these items in Bible study and worship.

We believe that all of scripture, both old and new testaments, are ONE, speaking of ONE L-rd and Savior, Yeshua Ha Mashiach -- Jesus the Messiah, the Anointed One. Our study aids accompany all scribed items, highlighting their Messianic significance, with Yeshua being the absolute source and fulfillment of the scriptures therein.

WHAT IS "MESSIANIC"?

"Messianic" is a term describing anyone who believes that Jesus (or Yeshua, in Hebrew) is the Messiah of the Jewish people, spoken of by the Jewish prophets in the Tanach (Old Testament). By His sacrificial death, burial and resurrection, G-d has extended that salvation to ALL peoples and nations, whom He loves.

Messianic believers hold many of the beliefs of mainline Christian denominations. They believe the entire Old and New Testaments are the One inspired Word of G-d. Salvation is based upon faith in G-d's redeeming work in man -- never upon man's ability to keep the laws of G-d, "lest any man should boast." Messianic believers also uphold those traditional elements of Jewish life and worship which glorify and exalt the Messiah and His Word -- "in the volume of the book of Torah, it is written of Him", Yeshua. Messianic people believe in the unity of Jew and Gentile within the "body of Messiah."
